License & Access
Access to Callie is provided on a monthly subscription basis, beginning on the date the license is first validated within the application. Continued access beyond the subscription period requires renewal.
License validation occurs locally within the application. Callie does not transmit EEG data or session content during license validation.
Supported Data & Compatibility
Callie supports EDF and EDF+ EEG recordings generated by common clinical EEG and neurofeedback systems.
Supported recordings must meet the following requirements:
Sampling rate between 128–512 Hz
Standard EEG channel configurations
Continuous recordings representing a single session
Recordings with missing required channels, non-standard channel naming, corrupted files, or unsupported export configurations may not be compatible.
Recording Duration Requirements
To ensure stable analysis:
Activity/Session recordings
Recordings shorter than these minimums may not contain sufficient data for reliable analysis and are not supported.
Processing & Data Handling
All EEG data is processed locally on the user’s device. Callie does not upload, store, or transmit EEG recordings or derived neural data.
Callie is intended for analysis of standard clinical session recordings and is not designed for continuous monitoring or diagnostic EEG studies.
Artifact Handling & Limitations
Callie applies automated artifact detection and correction methods to reduce common sources of EEG noise, including motion, muscle activity, and channel instability.
Analysis quality depends on the underlying signal quality. Recordings that are excessively noisy, unstable, or dominated by artifacts may produce limited results or fail analysis.
Callie does not guarantee successful analysis for all EEG recordings.
Performance & System Requirements
EEG session files may range from tens to several hundred megabytes. A minimum of 8 GB of system memory is recommended.
Processing time varies by file size and system performance. Users should allow 30–60 seconds for application launch and EEG processing.
Callie is currently supported on macOS running Apple Silicon processors (M1, M2, or later) and macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer. Intel-based Macs and Windows systems are not supported at this time.
Intended Use
Callie is designed to provide supportive, non-diagnostic EEG-derived signal features for reflection, session review, and within person comparison. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical or psychiatric condition.
All clinical interpretation and decision-making are performed independently by the licensed professional, without reliance on the software.
